Lower Chinese court rules iPads should be pulled from retailers

Apple's `iPad' trademark scuffle with Shenzhen-based Proview Technology recently suffered a setback when a lower court in southern China ruled that retailers in the country should pull out the iPads from their stores.

According to an Associated Press report, Proview's lawyer Xie Xianghui said that the ruling that retailers should discontinue the sales of the iPad came on Friday at the Intermediate People's Court in the city of Huizhou.

According to a Bloomberg report, based on the information shared by an unidentified source from one of Apple’s Asian manufacturing partners, the next iPad iteration – the iPad 3 - is in full production in China.

22 Fake Apple Stores Shuttered in Kunming City, China

A city in China found to have 22 counterfeit stores of Apple and the search for more is still on.

Authorities started their search after being reported about a fake store of Apple by the media.

The authorities started to raid the city of Kunming and had encountered 22 shops selling duplicate Apple stores. The initial search found them five counterfeiting stores, which further gave way to a rigorous search of many more. Some of the fake stores were found to be commencing business without any license from the authorities.

Sulphur in China used for hiding climate changes

It has been found that power stations in China that use coal as a medium are seriously masking the levels of global warming. This has been caused by the emission of sulphur, in the last decade because of its cooling effect.

Now, scientists are warning that such sulphur pollution is going to have long term and serious effects like causing acid rain. Once that happens the real level of carbon effect will be become open.
