Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd recorded a strong performance in March, with casino sales surging 24.3% year-on-year to KRW40.40 billion (Rs.2,427 crore), driven primarily by its foreigner-only Jeju Dream Tower resort. Month-on-month, revenues rose 23.8% from February, signaling consistent growth momentum. Table games dominated the revenue mix, contributing KRW38.35 billion, a 24% increase year-on-year, while machine games generated KRW2.05 billion, up 30.3% from March 2025. Table-game hold improved to 20.3%, while machine-game hold remained steady at 7.5%. The results reflect both rising visitation and efficient gaming operations, positioning Lotte Tour as a leading player in South Korea’s premium casino segment.

March Revenue Growth Across Gaming Segments

Lotte Tour’s March performance highlights a clear upward trajectory in both table and machine gaming. Table-game revenue reached KRW38.35 billion (Rs.2,303 crore), increasing 24% year-on-year and 24.3% from February, underscoring strong engagement from high-value foreign patrons.

Machine games also delivered solid growth, generating KRW2.05 billion (Rs.123 crore), up 30.3% year-on-year and 15.4% from February. The increase in machine-game revenue demonstrates Lotte Tour’s effective strategy in diversifying its casino offerings and optimizing machine utilization.

Hold Rates Reflect Operational Efficiency

Table games achieved a hold of 20.3%, rising 0.7 percentage points compared to March 2025. This improvement in hold indicates the casino’s ability to sustain profitability while managing risk across high-stakes games.

Machine-game hold remained steady at 7.5%, signaling consistent performance despite the smaller revenue share relative to table games. Analysts note that stable hold rates combined with revenue growth are key indicators of operational discipline in a premium casino environment.

Jeju Dream Tower as Growth Driver

The Jeju Dream Tower resort remains Lotte Tour’s flagship property, catering exclusively to international visitors. Its strong revenue performance reflects both increasing tourist arrivals to Jeju Island and the company’s focus on premium gaming experiences.

Strategic promotions, high-quality amenities, and a curated foreigner-only gaming environment have contributed to sustained demand, enhancing Lotte Tour’s market positioning in South Korea’s competitive casino landscape.

Outlook and Strategic Implications

With March results reinforcing a positive growth trajectory, Lotte Tour is well-positioned to capitalize on the continued rebound in tourism and international travel. Operational efficiency in table and machine games, coupled with rising visitation, could further strengthen profitability in upcoming quarters.

Investors and industry analysts will likely watch subsequent months for sustained growth trends and the potential impact of broader travel patterns, signaling Lotte Tour’s ability to maintain leadership in South Korea’s premium casino segment.
