Motorola Might be Planning to Come Out with Android Phone with 4.3-inch Display

Reports speculate that Motorola is currently in the process of working on a mobile handset which will have one of the largest displays ever seen on a smartphone. The phone is presently going by with the code-name Shadow, and will supposedly be equipped with a 4.3-inch, WVGA+ touchscreen, Google's Android operating system and various other high-end features.

As far as the screen size goes, the only equivalent of the Shadow right now is HTC HD2, which is Windows-Mobile based. And as for the operating system, the closest model is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, which will be equipped with a 4.0-inch screen.

The Motorola Droid and Google Nexus One, as well as various other models, have a display of 3.7-inches.

It has been reported that the Shadow will sport a tablet shape, and will be bundled with a whopping 8 megapixel camera. Another interesting and breakthrough feature will be an HDMI video-out port.

Although the details available on the Shadow are still very sketchy, it has managed to generate much excitement among tech junkies and smartphone lovers.
