Operation Smile and the RE Foundation Gets Recognised by HPCSA

The Operation Smile and the RE Foundation is being paid a homage by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) for the wonderful work that they have done in the past few days.

According to an HPCSA release, it was observed that both the organizations have used their time and skills altruistically. They carried out a number of operations free of cost and have been devoted in offering good quality healthcare in this nation.

Marella O'Reilly, Acting CEO and Registrar said, "It is with this type of selfless act that we see the remarkable life-changing effect that a healthcare practitioner can have on an individual's life".

She said that both the foundations deserve a salute for all the fabulous work that it has done, so as to enhance the lives of the deprived.

The healthcare practitioners should be praised for the efforts that they put in to bring a smile on their patients face.

Operation Smile has its branches in more than 50 nations, and its members offer secure, helpful and free cleft lip and cleft palate repair operation for newborn kids, across the world.

On the other hand, the RE Foundation centers on rebuilding lives and reigniting hope by means of medical skills.
