Aston Martin Racing took wraps off a new Vantage GT4 car that will hit roads in 2011. The design of the new V8 racer is inspired by Aston Martin's V12 Vantage road car, and has increased down-force and enhanced aerodynamics.

The company has race-remapped the 4.7-litre, V8 engine to provide increased levels of power and torque. The new Vantage GT4 has been launched on the success of its forerunner, which made its race debut last year.

McLaren Automotive has announced pricing for its MP4-12C supercar that will hit European roads in spring next year.

The high-performance sports car will cost 168,500 pounds in the UK, and 200,000 euros in the Europe Union. The quoted figure for the UK market includes VAT at the 20 per cent rate which will apply then.

The McLaren MP4-12C supercar is based on a carbon chassis, dubbed the MonoCell, and uses a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine. It produces 600bhp.

The Cygnet, Aston Martin's new supermini car, has been put on display at the London's Harrods department store.

The production version of Aston Martin's new luxury supermini car, which will hit roads in 2011, will be displayed until 11th of December.
