T-Mobile CEO Philipp Humm Resigns, COO Jim Alling Named Interim Chief

T-Mobile USA’s German parent, telecommunications biggie Deutsche Telekom AG, revealed in a Wednesday announcement that the US wireless carrier’s CEO Philipp Humm was leaving the company after a two-year stint at the helm.
In its announcement, Deutsche Telekom also said that T-Mobile’s Chief Operating Officer Jim Alling will take over as interim CEO after Humm’s departure; and that the carrier is already looking for a successor to Humm.
