Robbery on City Jewelry Store

A tray of jewelry has been stolen by two men at a jewellery store at Chinatown in central Sydney, this afternoon.

Officers say two men wearing balaclavas used sledgehammers to break a display case in the Sussex Street store at about 1:00 pm.

The men stole a tray of jewellery, believed to be rings, before fleeing in a vehicle believed to be a silver-colored Subaru Impreza. They are depicted as being of Asian appearance.

Exmouth police urging people to remain vigilant

Residents of Exmouth are being urged by the police not to park their vehicles in dark and isolated areas, whenever possible. The police also urged people to make sure that their homes are secure especially when they are not at home.

Exmouth police, which believes that prevention is better than cure, is offer free crime prevention advice as it is making efforts to eradicate crime.

The advice from the police emerged after they received complaints of fuel stolen from two cars while parked in Camperdown car park.

Teenage Girl Arrested in Connection with Victoria Station Murder

It has been reported that through a chain of police raids in South London, Metropolitan Police investigators seized a girl suspect and three other teenagers.

This sums the number of individuals in custody over the attack at Victoria at the time of last Thursday's rush-hour to 24.

Father Accused of Attempting to Kill His Own Children

A father has appeared in court accused for attempting to murder his two children who were rescued after a car plunged into the River Avon in Worcestershire.

Christopher Grady, 41, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody at Worcester Magistrates' Court two days after Ryan and Gabrielle Grady were rescued from the River Avon in Evesham, Worcestershire, and airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Woman Beaten in her Own House in Newtownards

It is reported that a 29-year-old woman has been seriously wounded after being beaten by a masked gang at a house in Newtownards.

It is alleged that four men veiling themselves with balaclavas forced their way into the house in the Blenheim drive area and attacked the woman with baseball bats.

The incident is reported to occur at about 2200 GMT.

In addition they ransacked the house and broke a number of windows before leaving.

Essex Police Probes into Smoking Baby Picture Posted on Facebook

A picture posted on the popular social networking website Facebook, of a baby with a cigarette in its mouth, has been the subject of a major probe by the Essex police officials.

On Saturday, authorities received the report of the picture of a baby boy with an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth. The officials traced the baby's home to Westcliff, near Southend, but discovered that there were "no immediate concerns".
