Hashish worth $2.46M Found on Bayly Street; Cops Seize Stash

A huge shed has been found at the back of a Pickering home, which was filled up with hashish worth an amount of $2.46 million. This has been found by the investigators of an alleged drug deal. Durham Regional Police today said that this case is the region's largest seizure ever of illegal narcotic.

Two Bandits Threaten a Pub Staff

The two bandits, one of whom was about 178 cm tall and the other too of the same height, who are said to have broken into a pub on the corner of Marion and Flood Streets were identified as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.

The two men reportedly burst in and started asking for cash just after midnight on Monday. After grabbing in a small amount of money, they then drove back in a stolen black Porche Boxster, which was being driven by some other man.

Nine people arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud were using stolen phones to make calls worth of millions of pounds to their own premium phone lines before receiving the profits.

Police confiscated dozens of iPhones, mobiles, hundereds of SIM cards, bank cards and fake passports in raids at homes across London, Birmingham, Southend, Middlesbrough and Walsall.

Arrested ex-Apple manager pleads not guilty to kickback charges

An Ex-Apple manager has been accused of leaking company secrets to Asian accessory suppliers pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges of accepting kickbacks.

The U.S. Attorney's office confirmed that 37-year-old Paul Shim Devine appeared the federal court in San Jose before U.S. Magistrate Howard R. Lloyd on Monday.

Mr. Devine was charged in a federal grand jury indictment last week with twenty-three counts of wire fraud, money laundering, conspiracy and accepting kickbacks totaling more than $1 million.

WA Witnesses Significant Plunge in Crime Rates

The official figures for Western Australia released recently have shed light on the sharp decrease in the crime rates across the region in the past year.

They have shown a severe plunge in the cases dealing with sexual assaults and thefts in WA.

The WA Police statistics compiled for the past financial year reveal that all the major crime categories across the state have registered a significant 12.7% decrease compared with figures recorded in 2008-09.

St. Louis County Police Found the Missing 4 Year Old Girl Alive

The St. Louis County police department revealed today that the 4 year old girl, who had been missing and her disappearance, had provoked an Amber Alert; she has been found alive. Alisa Maier was taken to the hospital, after she found in Fenton, Missouri, at 10:15 p.m., on Tuesday (11:15 p.m. ET).

Even though, she has been found alive, yet no suspect has been till now taken in custody. When on Monday, Alisa was playing with her brother in the front yard of her home in Louisiana, Missouri, she was kidnapped.
