The watchdog polled 11,000 consumers across the country, and found most respondents voting in favor of Waitrose, which received a customer score of 82 per cent.
Waitrose also received five-star ratings for the quality of its fresh products as well as for its customer service.

Last year Waitrose manage to acquire a hefty margin that allowed its staffs to take home a bonus worth nine weeks salary. The employee owned firm would soon be sharing a whooping 5.1 million pound worth of bonus with its 2900 partners. Each partner will get a payout of 1800 pounds.
Waitrose launches Christmas app through QR codes

Waitrose is making use of a special form of barcode, called Quick Response (QR) code, in a television advert. The code will appear at the end of the advert featuring Smith and Blumenthal.
Waitrose boss vows to double sales & marketing share by 2020

Waitrose's MD Mark Price aims to push sales up from £5 billion now to £10 billion and market share from 4.3 per cent to around 8 per cent by 2020.
The Group has plans to open new stores, build partnerships and introduce new products. Mark Price said that there is great potential for 23 stores in the United Arab Emirates.

John Lewis, owner of Waitrose, reported a 15.6 per cent rise. The figures confirm Waitrose as Britain’s fastest-growing supermarket chain in terms of total food sales.
M&S chairman Sir Stuart Rose admitted the chain was slow to spot the squeeze on shoppers. But with the launch of its low-cost Essentials range and introduction of free delivery on Waitrose Deliver online service, Waitrose ‘kick-started a tremendous trading period’.
Heavy Snowfall Benefits Waitrose

Driven by a phenomenal increase in frozen foods, with frozen chicken and filling foods flying off the shelves, total sales at Waitrose rose 16.6% to £86.7 million on the same week last year.
