Ubisoft all set to release Rayman Legends playable demo

A playable demo of Rayman Legends will be released via Microsoft's Xbox Live and Sony's PlayStation Network on August 14, videogames developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced.

The soon-to-be-released demo, which will provide gamers a glance into the videogame's Invasion Mode, will reportedly contain three levels from different stages in Rayman's quest.

Announcing the playable demo, Ubisoft also revealed, "Playable maps include Teensies in Trouble and A Toad Story, along with their Invasion Mode counterpart level, and a fan-favourite musical map themed to the song Black Betty."

Ubisoft rolls out new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist

In order to provide gamers with an overview of elements in the next installment in the Splinter Cell series, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft has rolled out a new trailer for the game.

The seven-minute trailer - Blacklist 101 - provides an overview of the story, characters and enemies, among other things.

PEGI asks Ubisoft to remove 'misleading' info

Ubisoft, the French game making company has come up with We Dare. This game is full of stuff that is more fantasy related. That is the reason why PEGI, game rating authority in Europe has asked the company to remove its so- called 'misleading' WeDare spot from the Internet.

The report first came out in Eurogamer, where it was reported that PEGI had told the company that after a lot of study and investigation, the committee has concluded that WeDare ads do not accurately reflect the nature and the content of the product. In a way it is misleading the users.

Rayman 3D confirmed for Nintendo 3DS

Ubisoft's Rayman 3D, which was listed by the Australian Classification Board Australian in December 2010, will be released on the Nintendo 3DS handheld video game console.

The platform for the new Rayman title was announced by the US software ratings board ERSB. The software ratings board announced the platform for the somewhat ignored limbless hero, but provided no other details about Rayman 3D, which is the seventh planned 3DS game from the publisher.

Ubisoft has released a new multiplayer trailer for its much-awaited Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood game, while the multiplayer beta testing for the game has been dated for the month of September.

Meanwhile, the publisher confirmed that they were planning for a DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Speaking about the DLC, a representative for Ubisoft said, "Yes, there are plans in the works."

Desmond Miles, the main hero of the series, will also appear in the upcoming game.

Ubisoft Puts off Driver: San Francisco Launch Until 2011

Ubisoft has proclaimed a postponement in the launch of its car-teleporting reboot Driver: San Francisco, this fall, explaining that it will not be unveiled before 2011.

The proclamations were made according to the company’s sales estimates in the quarter of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.

The publisher explained that the biggest cause for the delay is the excessive competition observed in the market. It explained that the driver was well checked by the developers, following its first introduction at E3.
