Connecticut's attorney general files a lawsuit against CVS Pharmacy

Connecticut's attorney general Richard Blumenthal has filed a lawsuit against CVS Pharmacy Inc. for allegedly selling expired food, beverages and over-the-counter medications.

As per attorney general’s office, investigators found about 20 of 45 Connecticut CVS Pharmacy stores selling products past their expiration dates.

Expired products found in the Connecticut locations include baby formula, cough medicine, antacids, energy drinks, yogurt, eggs and milk.
