The Canadian Institute for Health Information released its latest report on Thursday, which said patients in Canada have increasingly reported need for kidney in past years.
By 2011-end, some 4,500 Canadians or more were on the waiting list for an organ transplant. If 265 deaths were seen in all, 80 of them were in need of a kidney, the much-needed organ.
According to the institute, "Pre-emptive kidney transplants - ones performed immediately when end-stage renal failure is diagnosed with no time on dialysis - are becoming an increasingly important treatment option in Canada".

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Chrysler is recalling 22,118 of its 2010 Dodge Nitro, Dodge Ram, Jeep liberty and Jeep Wrangler models over latent faulty brake tubes. The tubes could direct to the loss of liquid break.
Chrysler has decided to widen an incentive plan which was accessible only for minivans until now. The plan enables the buyers of majority models to give back the Motor within 60 days if not satisfied with it.
The plan expects the buyers to pay up to $1,000 via two monthly installments.

Chrysler on Tuesday unveiled the Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition models, which as indicated by their name will celebrate the Viper’s final year of production.
The company said that it would produce only 50 Final edition Dodge Vipers, including 20 coupes, 18 roadsters and 12 ACRs.
The Final Edition models enliven the usual Viper appearance with a Graphite Clear Coat body color with a painted black center stripe outlined in red.
Chrysler Group LLC said it would recall 24,177 vehicles due to a potential defect in brake-system which could lead to brake-failure.
The recall applies to 2010 models of the Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Commander, Dodge Avenger, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Liberty and 2009-2010 models of Dodge Ram trucks.
The auto giant announced the recall in a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
