Premium carmaker, Audi has showcased the much anticipated 2015 Audi A3 sedan on the eve of the 2013 New York Auto Show.

Experts say that the new model is much like first-generation Audi A4 in appearance and comes with much sophisticated technological features and is bigger than the original version. It is believed that the company is looking to aggressively retain its customers, many of whom were finding it expensive to maintain their luxury vehicles.

An updated version of A1 TDI has been announced by Audi and it comes with improved efficiency where road tax and congestion charges could no longer valid.

The premium sub-compact hatchback will come with a 1.6-litre TDI diesel engine and would be made such that it sees a drop in carbon emissions to below 99g/km combined with a technology where fuel economy will be boosted upto 74.3mpg. What is most good about the car is that despite all these features in place it will also have quite an impressive timing of 0-62mph time of 10.5 seconds and would be coming with a top speed of 118mph.

Today, the German car-maker, Audi announced the release of a spanking new Audi A8. The ever-so nonchalantly beautiful car has been priced at a starting cost of $78,050.

The mileage for Audi A8 has been stated to be 17Mpg on city roads, whereas, the mileage on the highway is around 27 Mpg. The automobile major also announced in a news release that the fuel economy of the car is superior to that of BMW7-Series hybrid.

The Company describes its all-new A7 Sportback as a "five-door coupe", while revealing it on Monday. The A7 has been launched at the European dealerships and has been priced at $67,000, as compared to the
2010 Audi A8 in the U. S., which is priced $76,825. As far as A7 is concerned, the customers can opt between two gasoline and two turbodiesel V6 engines.

For purchasers that are looking forward to acquire a diesel car or an SUV, the alternatives are restricted to German products from Mercedes, BMW, VW and Audi.

For Audi fans, the Audi A3 TDI is its single sedan in the diesel section. Audi does put up for sale the Q7 diesel SUV. According to the Green Car Journal, the 'exceptional fuel economy' of the Audi 2010 A3 TDI was the key factor that helped it beat the other four finalists that included another clean-diesel vehicle and three hybrids.
