Glasgow has been selected from a list of around 400 aspirant cities for the 100 Resilient Cities programme. The city will be given funding as well as support which is worth $1m for the preparation of responding towards crises. As a participant it will also be funded for getting ready for the ongoing economic, social as well as the environmental problems. The Other cities which are participating in this scheme include Los Angeles, New York, Ramallah and Dakar.
