Earlier, the shareholders approved on the plan of Fiat divesting the industrial and marine operations into Fiat Industrial.

Hyundai has come up with a new avatar of its hit car bands, i10 and i20. These two cars have gone through a makeover.

The two cars have been designed in the research labs of Europe mostly done in Germany. While the new i10 has got newer, better and visibly different headlamps, the bumper and the grill section too has gone through a face lift. It has also been upgraded on the emission front and will be producing 99g/km of CO2 emissions.

In all, i10 has been given a look which is closer to Ford Fiesta. Its well regarded KAPPA motor has been replaced as well.

U.K. Fair Trade Office Investigates Suspected Cartel Activity in UK

Britain’s antitrust regulator is reported to have initiated probing into suspected cartel activity among commercial vehicle makers in the UK.

The investigation is claimed to center on some of the major truck manufacturers in Europe including Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz unit. In addition, the probe embroils Fiat SpA’s Iveco unit, Scania AB and Volvo AB’s subsidiaries Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks.

As per the recent reports, the OFT has recently jumped in the UK offices of Mercedes-Benz trucks at Tongwell near Milton Keynes in southeast England for investigation purposes.

Toyota is working on a four door FT-86 sedan: report

Rumors are swirling that car-manufacturer Toyota has plans to manufacturer a sedan based on the FT-86 compact sports coupe.

Australian site Carsguide claims that Toyota is working on a smaller version of the FT-86 to offer a sports coupe in the range of sub-$20K.

The rear-drive four-door FT-86 Sedan will be smaller in size than the Lexus IS models. It will feature the same 2.0 liter Subaru Boxer as the coupe version.
