Comet 2013 A1 to Pass by Mars in October 2014

MarsAccording to scientists at NASA, a newly discovered comet named 2013 A1 will pass by the red planet in October next year. It will come within about 31,000 miles of Mars.

The estimates were made by the Near-Earth Object Program Office at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California. It was revealed that there very few chances that the comet will hit the planet.
