Australian market continued upside movement on Friday. The stock market has touched 22-month high in today’s session as higher investor sentiment led to buying in major stocks. At Friday’s close, AXS200 was higher by 42 points at 4921.
Two new research centers in Sydney, Australia, has been launched by federal Mental Health Minister Mark Butler and Health Minister Tanya Plibersek, which aims at curbing the suicide cases, mental health cases and substance abuse increasing in the country.
Some 10,000 deaths were reported to an audit conducted recently by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. The audit reached the conclusion, disappointingly, that the deaths of more than 400 surgery patients that took place were actually preventable.
