Nintendo looking to bring Unity Engine to 3DS

The Unity Engine, a tool that allows game developers to develop game apps for a variety of different platforms, will also be available for the Nintendo 3DS.

The Wii U already has the Unity Engine, which has allowed more independent developers to develop apps for the Wii U; the Nintendo 3DS still lacks it. Fortunately, the game developer has announced that it is now looking into making the engine available for the 3DS too.

At the recently held Game Developers Conference, Nintendo's marketing senior manager Damon Baker hinted about the potential of bringing the Unity Engine to the 3DS.

Microsoft Office to be available on Apple iPad

Software giant Microsoft is reportedly preparing to bring its widely popular Office suite, including Word, Exel and PowerPoint, to Apple's iPad.

Microsoft can use its subscription service for Office, Office 365, to make the popular suite available to iPad users. The Microsoft Office 365 suite costs £79.99 ($99.99) per year, or £7.99 ($9.99) per month. Apart from the Office suite, it gives users OneDrive storage, international Skype minutes, as well as syncing between devices.

Time Warner CEO Marcus’ huge pay package retriggers debate over income inequality

The gigantic severance payment for Time Warner Chief Executive Officer Robert Marcus has retriggered debate over widening income inequality in the United States.

Less than two months after becoming the CEO of Time Warner, Marcus agreed to sell the company to Comcast for $45 billion. The company's board approved a severance payment of nearly $80 million for Marcus' that minimal amount of work.

As Marcus has spent just around two months at Time Warner as CEO, his huge severance payment translates into a daily payment of more than $1 million.

Concerned about the negative public perception of Google Glass, tech giant Google Inc has made an attempt to address the top 10 myths about the upcoming technology. But, the company defensive tone may not be able to convince everyone, partly because it took confrontational stance.

For instance, trying to dispel myth 2 "Glass is always on and recording everything," the company took a provoking stance and asked consumers to if they keep their other devices always on.

When it came to Myth 6 "Glass covers your eye(s)," Google questioned consumers if they had actually tried the device.
