Microsoft Announces Kinect’s Price

Microsoft declared its device Kinect’s price, last week. According to the new prices, Kinect with Kinect sensor and video game called Kinect Adventures will cost $149.99; it will be released for sale on November 4 in North America. The device including Kinect/Xbox360 Console Bundle will cost $299. This bundle will also have additional games like Kinectimals, Kinect JoyRide and Kinect Sports.

Users can order for these devices at the major retail stores.

According to Josh Hutto, Xbox Product Marketing Director, Kinect aims to bring the controller free and full entertainment for its users, as the bundle offers all kinds of fun with it. To play with Kinect, one does not need to have a conventional controller rather it requires voice commands and body motions to control the game.

At present, there are 40 million Xbox 360s in all over the world.

After this announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Kinect is being discussed a lot by the tech savvy people and the media. Microsoft has planned to take the Kinect Experience Tour to 32 cities in North America.

In another development, T3 awards have also reached their second stage. Even in the second stage, one can vote for all the categories. A list of possible winning nominees has been framed.
