The SIM-free version of Dell Streak is now available in the UK with a price tag of £449.

Thus far, the Streak was available exclusively through O2, which offers the device for £399 on pay-as-you-go deal. O2 also offers the device for free on £35-a-month two-year contract that presents unlimited data, texts and 10 hours of voice calls.

The Dell Streak features a 5-inch wide WVGA multi-touch capacitive display with a resolution of 800 by 400 pixels and a 5megapixel camera with autofocus and duel LED functionalities.

The Android 2.1 operating system, ARM-based 1GHz Qualcomm

Snapdragon processor, an optional docking station with a HDMI connector and 2GB of storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB are some of the other striking features of the Streak.

For connectivity, the Dell Streak comes with bluetooth, WiFi and 3G.
