Female Viagra Hot Topic of Discussion

A new drug that had been designed to increase sexual desire in women is a hot topic of discussion for some folks whilst some have been eagerly waiting to check out the new drug even though the drug has met with serious level of failure.

The Food and Drug Administration posted information regarding the clinical trial results on its website prior to a committee meeting to be held on Friday, when a group of specialists will give their votes whether to recommend the drug, flibanserin, or not.

Two trials were carried out and in both, the drug could not boost women's desire any more than what a placebo does.

Though there was a minor increase in the number of sexually satisfying occurrences flibanserin users had every month, the FDA employees, who reviewed the results, said the professed response rate is not predominantly convincing.

In a statement that was posted on the FDA website, producer Boehringer Ingelheim has asserted that flibanserin actually works, whilst recognizing that it is better at escalating a woman's global desire than the passion of her heightened incidents of desire. That phrasing is of the suggestion that the drug's effects are, well, rather delicate.
