Network provider 3 UK has announced data plans for much-hyped Apple iPad, which will available from 28th of this month.

3 UK will offer 1GB of data for 7.50-a-month, while the 10GB version will be made available for £15-a-month.

This is in comparison with Vodafone, which is offering 1GB of data for £10-a-month and 5GB for £25-a-month. O2 is charging £2-a-day for pay-as-you-go service. It’s 1GB and 3GB plus unlimited WiFi is available for £10 and £15-a-month.

Orange will offer 1GB for £7.50-a-week, while 3GB and 10GB for £15 and £25-a-month.

Speaking on the topic, 3 UK’s sales & marketing director Marc Allera said that they optimized their network for the mobile Internet to ensure best mobile performance on iPad.

The above mentioned data plans show that 3 UK's 10GB offer is much better than all the one-month traditional data offers being offered by the major UK network providers.
