The addition of third-party add to the popular software will fetch additional income for the company.

Currently, people can make Skype to Skype calls for free, however they have to purchase phone credit from the company to dial to wireless and landline phones.

Most probably, users of the service will not mind if third-party advertisements are added to Skype because the concept third-party ads is not new to internet users.
