China Earns a Bad Reputation

It was seen lately that in China the spam originated from hacked computers had dropped gradually and the country had been thrown out of the Top 12 chart.

It was told by Sophos which is a security firm that China had dropped off the listing and had reached No. 15. It was also informed that 1.9% of the spam was supplied by China. It did this through its malware infected computers called bots or zombies.

According to the reports, China had released attacks on foreign companies and government networks and therefore, had earned a bad reputation. It was also seen that in the last 12 months the spam spread by computers in the country had reduced.

The Dirty Dozen list was revised in U. S., India, Brazil, South Korea, Vietnam, Germany, U. K., Russia, Italy, France, Romania, and Poland were in included.

It was also seen that the cities which were outside the Top 12 were Thailand at 20th place with 1.44%, Indonesia at 1.29 percent, the Philippines at 0.91 percent, Malaysia at 0.65 percent and Singapore relaying 0.55 percent which was at 42nd position. The lowest was Luxembourg at 0.03%.
