Apple’s advertisement seems to have made an impression on consumers with its features, video images, books, and browsing. Businessmen seem to be anxiously waiting to use the device when it is available in the market on Saturday.
Two iPads have been already ordered by Kaiser Permanente's Innovation & Advanced Technology Group in order to examine its ability to deliver mobile health care. A review of the iPads would be conducted at Kaiser's Garfield Health Care Innovation Center where researchers intend to look at the ways doctors and medical executives can use medical files on the move.
It will determine the feasibility of the device and check whether it can connect electronic health care system and work in partnership with the staff and patients in an effective way or not. The idea is that clinicians should be able to make usage of iPad and spend extra time with the patients in order to improve the services of care provided by the staff and for their own satisfaction, said by Sean Chai, Senior IT Manager at the center.
Other companies which have placed the orders are Salesforce. com, Charles Schwab, Good Technology and Electronic Arts.
