The British developed game “Batman: Arkham Asylum” has bagged the best game title at the Bafta 2010 awards.

Batman: Arkham Asylum outshone its nearest rival Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to win the award. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves had the most number of nominations.

In addition, Batman: Arkham Asylum grabbed the best gameplay.

Awards for best action and story went to Uncharted 2. In total, Uncharted 2 took away four awards.

Assassin's Creed II could not win any award, despite thew fact that it was nominated to seven categories.

Awards for artistic achievement and new talent went to Flower and Shrunk respectively.

Cut-throat competition at the Baftas 2010 awards shows that video game industry has escaped downturn.
