Black creators announce Bodycount for Xbox 360 and the PS3

Stuart Black, the creator of 2006 shooter Black, has revealed that Black Sequel was in production at EA.

The man behind the Black also announced Codemasters' brand new game called Bodycount that will hit the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in early next year.

It was informed that Bodycount was under production at Codemasters' new Guildford studio, which would make use of EGO Game Technology platform to create the new game.

Bodycount has been described as "The Ultimate Shooter" in the Xbox magazine.

In the Bodycount, players become ensnared in a covert worldwide power struggle as a powerful combat asset with a green light to eradicate enemies known as 'Targets' on behalf of the 'Network'.

Commenting on the topic, the company said, "From the jaw-dropping devastation caused by firing into enemies or shredding the world around you in a hail of bullets, Bodycount will crystallise that moment of pulling the trigger into an exhilarating sensory overload of action."

Company's executive producer Tom Gillo said that they were focusing at presenting excellent gun play in the new game Bodycount.
