Crystal Dynamics has unveiled its new game called Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which will feature two playable characters viz. Lara Croft and Totec, a Mayan spearman.

The two heroes of the game help each other in battling against a spirit called Xoxolt.

Both characters have their own special skills and weapons that they use to win the battle.

The company did not announce the exact date for the release of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, but the game is expected to be released via digital download later in 2010.

Launch platforms for the game will also be announced later.
