Fans Can Now Watch Eurosport Live on iPhone

Fans are now being offered an exciting opportunity by the European satellite sports broadcaster to watch Eurosport through their iPhone from anywhere, while on the move. Through the new iPhone application, users will be able to watch live sporting events with a Wi-Fi or 3G network connection.

The "so-called" Eurosport Player is now available as a free download and offers UK users a chance to access British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2. As the content being relayed is simulcast, it will be the same content which is being carried through BSkyB, Virgin Media and Tiscali TV.

Because of the restrictions being put in place over copyrights, the content is only being made available to viewers in UK and Ireland.

Despite the fact that the application is a free download, there will be a 2.39 Pounds per month or 23.99 Pounds per year charge payable for accessing the content.
