Police in Hubei Province of China have shut down country’s biggest website for hackers and arrested three people for selling malicious software and providing training for launching cyber attacks.

The police closed the Black Hawk Safety Net, calling it China’s biggest hacker training website. The three persons arrested by the police were suspected of offering online hacker tools and Trojan software to thousands of members.

Police have seized over 1.7 million Yuan in assets and confiscated five computers, nine web servers and a Honda Accord car.

The website charged 7 million Yuan from as many as 12,000 VIP members in exchange for providing hacker tools. Other 170,000, who had registered for free membership, also got hacker tools.

The Black Hawk Safety Net, which was founded in 2005, headquartered in Xuchang city of the central Henan Province.

It may be noted here that last month Google and other US companies suffered cyber attacks, which allegedly originated in China. Google had threatened to quit Chinese market in wake of cyber attacks.
