Mazda will introduce its special edition MX-5 at the Geneva Motor Show in March to celebrate its two decades of roadster success.
The Japanese automaker said the number of the Anniversary Edition MX-5 would be limited to 2,000 only. The new car will be sold only in Europe.
The MX-5 will be based on the 1.8-litre SE model. The stylish car’s exterior attractions include chrome grille, door handles and headlight fascia, state-of-the-art 17-inch alloy wheels and 20th anniversary logos.
Anniversary Edition MX-5 will be available in three colours viz. red, crystal pearl white and unique aurora blue.
A front suspension bracing bar gives the new car a sportier look.
At the Geneva Motor Show, Mazda will also exhibit its Sky-G petrol and Sky-D diesel engines plus Sky-Drive automatic transmission, which aims at reducing emissions and increasing fuel efficiency.
