Ubisoft all set to release Rayman Legends playable demo
A playable demo of Rayman Legends will be released via Microsoft's Xbox Live and Sony's PlayStation Network on August 14, videogames developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced.
The soon-to-be-released demo, which will provide gamers a glance into the videogame's Invasion Mode, will reportedly contain three levels from different stages in Rayman's quest.
Announcing the playable demo, Ubisoft also revealed, "Playable maps include Teensies in Trouble and A Toad Story, along with their Invasion Mode counterpart level, and a fan-favourite musical map themed to the song Black Betty."
In addition, the demo will provide players with access to the so-called Gallery of Heroes, where they can change their characters' costumes.
Ubisoft had originally planned to release Rayman Legends in February exclusively on Wii U, but later delayed the release of the game to prepare it for a multiplatform release.
Rayman Legends is now scheduled to be released on August 30 in the United Kingdom and on September 3 in the United States, on Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Vita.
