With heightened anticipation about Apple's forthcoming iPhone 5, close to its much-speculated September 12 unveiling, the latest among the numerous online leaks allegedly pertaining to the handset now includes leaked images of what supposedly is a new set of earphones for the smartphone.
The leaked pictures of new set of earphones for iPhone 5 first surfaced on the Vietnamese website called Tinhte. vn, which posted images of the supposed iPhone 5 ear-buds to give the Apple aficionados the first glimpse of the new accessory which will likely accompany the next-generation iPhone.
The images of the new earphones originally emerged via a video which was posted on the Tinhte. vn website. The video claimed that the new headphones for the soon-to-be-released iPhone 5 boast a totally different form factor as compared to the earphones for the iPhone 4S.
According to the information leaked on the website via the audio originally accompanying the video, the new iPhone's earphones - which have been manufactured in the Vietnam-based Phax Co. factory - have a much smaller profile than the iPhone 4S' earphones; and also look like a fully integrated, single unit.
Despite the fact that the video has now been replaced with a new version, sans the original audio, a MacRumors report revealed that the information shared by the narrator in the original audio could be translated as follows: "All factors such as design, quality finishing materials fabricated wire, plastic body headphones are led to the conclusion this is genuine and not counterfeit headphones."
