Jamie’s Italian

Harden’s UK Restaurant Guide 2010 said that restaurant-goers have praised Jamie’s Italian heavily.

Three-quarters of around 8,000 diners surveyed by the annual guide praised the restraint chain.

Restaurants are rate from one to five on food, service and ambiance. One stands for exceptional, while five stands for poor.

Richard Harden, Guide’s editor, said he was surprised at the verdict. He added that chef’s restaurants bridged a gap in the market by making positive contribution to the middle-market.

Commenting on the issue, a spokesperson for Jamie Oliver said, “It's pleasing that the restaurants have been a hit with those who come to them.”

Jamie’s Italian, which has seven branches in the UK, was opened by the television chef in June 2008.
