Nokia could launch its first Windows phone 7.5 Mango handset in November

A new Knowyourmobile report has recently leaked the scheduled release details of Nokia's forthcoming handset - most probably, the Nokia Sun. According to the report, the handset - which apparently will be the Finnish handset -maker's first phone featuring Windows phone 7.5 Mango - will likely be launched next month.

Revealing that Italian carrier TIM is hinting at a November release for Nokia's first Windows phone, the Knowyourmobile report also added that the leaked release schedule is seemingly for the launch of the handset in Europe.

Despite the fact that an earlier leak made a mention of Nokia's new Sea Ray handset being the company's first and flagship Windows phone device, some previous reports have said that the Nokia Sun will be launched on Orange in France next month. As such, it can be deduced that the handset that the Knowyourmobile report has mentioned will most likely be the Sun.

In addition, it is also being reported that the handset, the Nokia Sun, will likely be announced at the Nokia World event coming up on October 26 and 27 --- the speculations being largely based on the information that a number of Microsoft executives will be in attendance at the next week event.

According to some other reports, the key features of the Nokia Sun will include a uni-body design, a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen and a 1.4GHz processor; along with 16GB of built-in storage; an 8-megapixel camera; a microSIM slot.
