Jamie Cullum, 30, and model Sophie Dahl, 32, tied the knot in a private ceremony at the weekend, claimed his spokeswoman.

Cullum's spokeswoman, Kas Mercer, said, "I can confirm that they celebrated their wedding at the weekend".

The couple had a private wedding ceremony at the Lime Wood Hotel, set in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, with a winter wonderland-theme.

The two however, avoided the press, restricting the news only to their family and close friends.

The venue lit with hundreds of fairy lights. Cullum was reported to perform for guests.

The blessing was followed by a wedding breakfast in a marquee with food preferred by a Michelin-starred chef.

The couple got engaged in March, 2009, when they met for the first time in 2007. Their relationship however, grabbed a lot of astonishment due to their noticeable height difference. Cullum is seven inches shorter than his new bride.
