Facebook leaves users 'anxious and stressed’ - Says survey

As per researchers, people who always hang out social networking sites like Facebook are most likely to feel stressed out. It has been found by the Psychologists that, some of the users suffer great Facebook-related nervousness with only very fragile rewards.

In an online survey it was seen that 12% of the total users have said that Facebook made them feel anxious. This survey was carried out by the Edinburgh Napier University. While other 32% have said that they had a feeling of guilt and discomfort during rejecting friend requests.

The entire study was directed by Dr Kathy Charles. He has said that the survey had a number of impractical results.

He has stated that in spite of having pressure to be on Facebook there is also considerable gain of the users as well. Moreover, it was also found that the people who use Facebook for more time are expected to be more stressed.

The reason for this was possibly because of the pressure that users that they feel by the seeing the updates about their life for a mass of people as stated by Dr Charles.
