BMW unveils improved versions of BMW 1-Series Coupé and Convertible

Distinguished automaker has BMW introduced the improved versions of the BMW 1-Series Coupé and Convertible, which will hit the UK roads on 26th of March, 2011.

Both of the upgraded versions of the BMW 1-Series Coupé and Convertible feature a new front bumper, modified back lights and improved fog lamps.

Increased efficiency is another feature of the new models. The manufacturer has successfully dragged CO2 emission levels down, making ES, SE and Sport 1 Series models fit with an Aero Curtain- a characteristic that directs the airflow around the front of the car to hack aerodynamic drag.

Speaking on the Aero Curtain system, the manufacturer said, "This jet of air effectively covers the side of the front wheels like a curtain."

There are four specifications, starting with ES that features 16-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, MP3 playback and Dynamic Stability Control.

The BMW 1-Series Coupé and Convertible will be made available for purchase with starting price tags of £21,960 and £24,245, respectively.
