Lenovo to release IdeaPad U260 notebook on November 15

Lenovo has confirmed that its ultra-portable notebook, called the IdeaPad U260, will be released on Monday, 15th of November, in the United States.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 features a 12.5-inch display, up to 320 GB of HDD storage, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, HDMI, and Intel Core i3-380UM or Core i5-470UM.

For hard drive shock protection, the company has incorporated Lenovo Active Protection System.

The upcoming notebook doesn't exceed 18mm in thickness and weighs merely 1.3kg. Its glass touchpad support multi-touch. The ultra-portable laptop has a breathable keyboard with Intel Advanced Cooling Technology.

It is said to be Lenovo's first single piece design made of lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy materials.

Other stunning features of the new device include ambient light sensors, Dolby audio, a Lenovo Enhanced Experience and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 notebook, which will go on sale via Lenovo. com with a starting base price tag of $895, will be available in a few new colours, like that of clementine orange and mocha.
