Wick Fizz Lolly Recalled by Brandliners

The SRS QLD PTY Wicked Fizz Sour Head Lickers by Brandliners Limited has been recalled by the Company. The recall has been initiated by the ice-cream maker as the lolly has been found to present a danger of choking to children.

The ice-cream is sold in different flavors and is sold in a container that is similar to that of a deodorant. The container consists of a roller ball, which can be consumed, when the child finishes off the rest of the ice-cream.

However, it has been found that the container in a certain batch of ice-creams was defected. It was found that the roller ball could be dislodged, when the bottle is squeezed from the bottom. The batch number for the recalled ice lollys is 090720.

Till date, there have been no cases of choking reported, regarding the defect. However, the Company after observing the defect has decided to recall the products, as a safety measure. Parents, whose children accidentally choke on the lolly, have been advised to procure medical care as quickly as possible.

The lolly is known to be a favorite among children and is sold all across dairies and shops in New Zealand. If the customers have already bought the defected products, they can return the lollys to the retailer in lieu of a full refund.
