HTC HDC 7 Windows Phone 7: review

The HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 handset has been designed for those who love to watch video. It sports a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, which is perfect for video-watching. However, it is not as great as AMOLED screen of Omnia 7.

At 122mm by 68mm by 11.2mm in dimensions and 162g in weight, the HTC HD7 smartphone can be considered to be very small. It has a 5-megapixel photosnapper. But one can argue why the high end smartphone did not get
8-megapixel photo snapper that the HTC 7 Mozart has.

Like all the other Windows Phone 7 handsets, the HTC HD7 comes equipped with a micro USB, a 3.5mm socket, an accelerometer, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and a proximity sensor.

Microsoft has set some specifications for the handsets running its new operating system. Thus, all Windows Phone 7 handsets, including the HTC HD 7, feature similar characteristics such as 1GHz processor, 576MB of RAM,
512MB of ROM and internal storage of either 8GB or 16GB.

As for battery, the HTC HD7 comes with a 1,230mAh battery, which makes it lag behind others that feature 1,500mAh battery.

The HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 smartphone is all set to hit store shelves next month.
