Testosterone to be Blamed for the Sweat in Men

Scientists after conducting a research on the sweat pattern of men and women have found out that it is men who end up sweating more and better, in comparison to women. The best probable reason provided by the scientists for men sweating in a better way than women has been stated due to testosterone.

The study has been published in the October month issue of the journal Experimental Physiology. In the study both men and women were asked to sweat it out, while biking for an hour. The results of the study generated have concluded that fit men tend to generate the best sweat.

The study also concluded that physical workout in general was the most beneficial for men. The difference in the benefits kept increasing with the advent of the increase in the intensity of the exercise being performed.

The research also concluded that the fitter a person was, the easier was it for the body to start sweating. It was noted that fit men tend to sweat a lot quicker than fit women, while inactive men sweat a lot quicker than inactive women. The reason why fitter people sweat early is to maintain the core temperature of the body, so that it does not overheat easily.

The study was conducted at the Osaka International University, the lead author, Yoshimitsu Inoue while talking about the conclusion of the study stated that it seemed that women were the disadvantaged lot, when it came to physical activity, especially under hot conditions.
