A report released by RedmondPie has revealed an exploit, which claims to unlock iPhone 3G & 3GS and all the versions of iPhone 4.

This new exploit in the form of a software has been identified by iPhone hacker, Clayton who jailbreaks the device, when one gives a certain command to the baseband. As per RedmondPie, iPhone Dev-Team could change this new exploit into a full unlock method.

With the new software exploit, firmware updates can be received without any re-locking problem. One can have many firmware updates as he/she wants and there is a full guarantee that the iPhone will never get re-locked.

The new software has confirmed many download tests and the manufacturers are in this business for the last two years.
