An American college student, Karen Owen, made a fake thesis mentioning about her sexual experiences with Duke athletes. She sent her sex thesis via e-mail to three friends. The thesis was then circulated on the campus, on the Internet, and was finally published on the U. S. celebrity sites Jezebel and Deadspin.

The title of the mock thesis was ‘An education beyond the classroom: excelling in the realm of horizontal academics’ and was offhandedly called ‘fuck list’.

The thesis has the complete intimate details about 13 male students, with whom she slept. The thesis also includes vulgar talk transcripts and the overall rating out of 10.

The PowerPoint presentation has the names and photographs from Facebook and athletic action shots. All the high-profile lacrosse, baseball, and tennis team athletes were scored according to their penis size, talent in bed, physical appearance, aggressiveness, creativity, and entertainment.

For the presence of an Australian accent and/or expert surfing skills, a ‘bonus’ score was also awarded.

While giving an interview to Jezebel, Owen said that her intention was never to publicize her thesis on the Internet. She further said, “I regret it with all my heart. I would never intentionally hurt the people that are mentioned on that”.
