Jaguar Gives Glimpse of Its Electric Supercar

A glimpse of its future planning has been given by Jaguar, which has taken a step ahead in the production of electric cars. The Company said that the supercar would be driven at the speed of over 200mph.

The first images of the C-X75 model car have been disclosed by the Daily Telegraph. This would be the fastest electric car, which would be able to give a crazy experience of driving at the top speed of 205mph.

The carmakers have planned to unveil the C-X75 today, at the Paris motor show. One can run this car continuously for 560 miles and in between there is no need to recharge the battery.

The current industry peak of electric cars is around 100 miles because of the gas turbine system invented by one of the British engineers.

However, Bladon Jet's gas turbine technology has the potential to charge the battery far more than its range. The four electric motors, which help in driving the wheels, get superfluous power with the help of this technology.

"The C-X75 demonstrates that Jaguar is still leading the field automotive design and technology. And will always continue to build beautiful, fast cars", said Ralf Speth, Chief Executive of Jaguar Land Rover.
