One more MP comes under ICAC's scanner

One more MP from the Keneally government has been put under the scanner for testing whether his activities have been corrupt or not.

The investigation on all the ministers is being carried out by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) . It has confirmed that Drummoyne Angela D'Amore was allegedly misusing the electoral allowances that were given to him.

This is not the first time that such a thing is happening with the ministers. Due to an investigation that was done on Karyn Paluzzano, she was forced to resign from her post.

It happened in May this year and she later accepted that she had been lying to the Commission.

Talking to media, Kristina Keneally said that she expects Ms D'Amore to be totally cooperative with the investigation. She expects that the public servant will not lie anymore and tell everything the way it happened.

Public hearing on the case is going to begin from October 5. ICAC also said that notices have already been sent.

From her side, Ms D'Amore has said that all the claims are false and that she will be defending herself.
