Windows XP users can’t ride the IE9 train

The software giant Microsoft has released its latest version of Internet Explorer browser, IE9 but the firm has decided to make the latest IE9 incompatible with the computers using Windows XP operating system. The company has said the Windows XP has not the necessary technologies to run the new browser.

As per the survey by the research firm, Net Applications around 61% of the total computers across the world run with Windows XP operating system as of August. Windows 7 and Vista supports the IE9 which acquire 30% computers in the World. Because of this fact the analysts are expecting the IE90 to take more than a year to be poplar amongst the computer users.

The company says this will make the people to upgrade their computer system but the main reason of worry for Microsoft is that most of the people in the world always prefer to work with Windows XP.

A study report suggests that the rate of upgrade has been recorded in its slowest rate in recent past as Windows XP has been the most successful operating system of Microsoft. The company has not provided IE9 with XP because of some hardware acceleration issues.
