Macmillan Organises World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Campaign

Macmillan Cancer Research is organising its annual coffee morning campaign in order to raise funds for cancer research.

Macmillan is hopeful that the campaign will get the support of around two million people and will be able to arrange around £8.3million for cancer research program.

Kenco will be the sponsor of the Macmillan’s Cancer Support event.

People are supporting the charity by doing different things. For example, Miss Scotland Nicola Mimnagh bathed naked in a pool of coffee beans.

She has requested other people to come forward and support the campaign. She is more so interested because she lost her grandfather due to cancer. Nicola further said that the number of patients dying of cancer is increasing each year.

Rodrick MacDonald, from Northwood Avenue, Middlewich has also decided to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning charity program. He also expressed his gratitude towards Macmillan for saving his life by proving good treatment when he was suffering from bowel cancer.

People from all over the United Kingdom come together every year to support this Biggest Coffee Morning event and raise as much money as possible.

The money, which is obtained from the campaign, is used for the welfare of cancer patients.
