BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone is now available in the UK on T-Mobile networks.
T-Mobile UK is offering the phone on Pay-As-You-Go for £249.99. Despite its relatively small price tag, the smartphone comes with a number of striking features that make it a popular choice among both, the professionals and non-professionals.
The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is compact and weighs just 93.6g. It comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera and Facebook and Twitter widgets. For entertainment, the phone lets users to sync music collections on iTunes or Windows Media Player.
It will feature a standard numerical keypad, rather than a normal QWERTY keypad.
In addition, it has BlackBerry Messenger app which allows users to send messages for free to other BlackBerry owners.
Speaking on the device, Nicola Shenton from T-Mobile UK said, “Making the BlackBerry Pearl 3G available to our customers on a pay-as-you-go tariff is part of T-Mobile’s mission to bring more affordable, top end smartphones to the wider market.”
The network provider is also offering free email and internet on BlackBerry Pearl 3G for a period of six months. After six months, users will have to purchase a booster to receive access to email and internet, which will cost around £1 a day, with a 1GB fair usage policy on user data.
